Environmental Projects
Tree Planting
In 2019, 10 acres of land locked field were transitioned into a tree plantation. More than 4200 coniferous and deciduous trees were planted at the Buckland farm.
In 2015, we transitioned 2.5 acres of less productive land at the Collins farm into a tree plantation through a natural area restoration program.
In 2013, Norway Spruce trees were planted at the Collins and Polo Farms to create a living wind break to reduce erosion and promote healthy ecosystems by establishing wildlife corridors.
In 2019, we partnered with GRCA (Grand River Conservation Authority to complete a water erosion project at the Marcoux farm. For more information, check out the press release.
