The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• operating large machinery during planting and harvest seasons; including planter, tractor, excavator and combine

• equipment inspection, preventative maintenance, and cleaning 

• troubleshooting and identifying equipment issues in the field 

• working extended hours during busy season as required

• working with livestock and doing daily chores

 

Required skills and experience:

• experience safely operating equipment 

• physically fit, able to lift 55lbs (25kgs), shovel and sweep grain bins

• strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• valid driver’s licence with a clean drivers abstract

• AZ licence would be an asset 

• trades experience, community college, or other post-secondary education is an asset
