A Family Owned Farm Since 1969
Timstar Farms is a multi-generation full-time working farm located in Rockwood in the township of Guelph/Eramosa. Donald Timmings founded the farm in 1969 with mixed farming (livestock and crop). The farm is now owned by his son and grandson, Jim and Scott Timmings, who produce premium quality crops using progressive and responsible methods.
Our Mission
To operate a sustainable farming business to support our landowner and share crop partners and produce quality products to feed future generations.
Jim Timmings has worked in the agricultural industry for over 40 years owning and managing farm businesses. His knowledge and experience provides a strong foundation that drives business success.
Scott Timmings graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce in Agriculture Business in 2009. He joined the family farm operation full-time in 2014. Scott is always on the lookout for new diversification opportunities and is open to building new partnerships.
